diaphanous spectrum—
shifting rainbows
on fluttering wings
in dawn’s first light
peace and beauty
hovers on the thin air

does creation
not echo its magnificence
upon capillary waves
all life reverberates
in harmonious tones
back to its creator

  1. First we get to feast on that amazing photo – is it yours? And then to read the lovely words about the magical dragonfly. Glad you joined us and hope you return. We have a few regular events during the week you may enjoy reading and/or joining in under d’Schedule. Get to know us all better under d’Team. We always enjoy reading poems of others and when they read ours. Again, welcome!

    • Not my photo. I do need to get better at finding the source for photos but many times these images get bounced around so much it is hard to track down the original source. I take no credit for any of the photos I use. I appreciate you reading. I’ve checked out many of the d’verse poets over the last day and have been delightfully impressed. I will spend more time searching through the page this weekend, as it is all new to me.
